The Simplicity of...

That's DANCEMADE studio, managed by Jens Nilsson, a graphic designer from Stockholm, Sweden. Like I've mentioned before, there is nothing better than keeping it simple and neat, it really speaks for itself. No need for fancy, over the top designs. What clients really want is clarity, organization and most importantly to be seen by many!

Graphical Inspiration

I've always been intrigued by editorial designs and it's layouts. I stumbled upon this images for the Parisian Vogue on The Selby, very well balanced use of space through out. I like the way the images overlap, and the mixture of font weights and styles, a very eclectic look yet very sophisticated.

Studio on Fire

Great detailed work from Studio on Fire, a true representation of what letterpress should look like. A vintage touch with a modern twist of design, very clean and ornate pieces they produce. (Via: Graphic Exchange)

Designer Marcel Wanders

The reason why I was impressed by Wanders work, is the way he works with graphics in his interiors. All ornate, but with a good taste, and ironically keeping it simple. He is based in Amsterdam as the director of Marcel Wanders Studio, more pictures and work available in his website . Very bold and dynamic graphics throughout his spaces, it almost has an airy feel to it. Very well balanced throughout the interiors, giving graphics a good source for interior design.

The Selby

The Selby, is a website dedicated to showcase a collection of interesting photos of living and working spaces of artists, designers, photographers and others. Most of the spaces shown have a very eclectic look, and feel, they range from sleek modern to down to earth real spaces. I truly recommend this site, it sets apart from the fancy looking magazine images.

It's been a while...

Since my last post, have been running up and down, and finally had a week to recuperate from school. Looking forward for a summer, full of work. Aside from that, we had a great day yesterday, we went to a new bistro located in Little Italy called Ilume. Great food and wine! While waiting for our food I captured this images...

Working Space = Space Working

There is nothing like an organized, clean, neat, structured, efficient,tidy....working space. It really sets the mood for the way you work and the way you perceive your own work. Came across this image, it really speaks for itself.
